MESA Europe announces London & Amsterdam events in early September

Published July 9, 2015

Early September promises to be both a busy and informative time as MESA Europe unveils a significant programme of events.

Starting on Tuesday 8th September, and in collaboration with its HITS Advisory Board, we are pleased to confirm the second annual Metadata Workshop. This year, the focus of the afternoon event, to be held in London, will be on Monetising Metadata.

Following the Workshop, on 8th September, we once again return to the famous Bodo Schloss Restaurant for a MESA Europe member and VIP guest party.

Staying in London, Wednesday 9th September sees the global launch of the Transforming Home Entertainment (THE) Summit, an all day event organised with the Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) and supported by the British Video Association (BVA) and the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA). The focus of the day will be on the products, technologies and business models that are emerging to further boost entertainment in the home and on the move.

Amsterdam, Saturday 12th September and the focus turns to Content Access and Rights Management, during a late afternoon Forum, being held in the centre of the City.

Immediately following the Forum, on 12th September, MESA members from both the USA and Europe, along with their VIP guests, are invited to a MESA Global networking party.

“We are delighted to be hosting such a packed week of informed discussion and networking” said Jim Bottoms Executive Director of MESA Europe. “Early September is already a busy time in Europe for the industry and a time when so many key executives travel over from the US. We are receiving so much enthusiastic support and encouragement as we finalise programme details for all of these events, which clearly demonstrates the appetite for the subject matter” he added.

Further programme details will be released next week. For additional information on any of the above, or to register your interest in speaking, attending or sponsoring any of the above please contact Jim ([email protected]) or David ([email protected]).
