Published January 28, 2016

Representatives from Walt Disney International, Channel 4 and Sony Music will be among the panellists discussing ways in which better data and analytical tools are being used to enhance the decision making process. This session will be included as part of the Data and Analytics Summit taking place in London on 10th February.

“There is so much going on in this area it will be really interesting to get inputs from three different strands of the entertainment industry” said David Millar, Communications Director at MESA Europe, who will be moderating this panel session.

On the previous afternoon MESA Europe will be hosting a workshop focussed on Asset Management, with Google, ITV and UKTV all committed to participating in the opening panel discussion.

“Asset Management is a priority area for many in the industry right now as they come to terms with the growing number of delivery platforms and security issues, in an environment of increased pressure on distribution timelines and costs” said Jim Bottoms, Executive Director of MESA Europe. ”The workshop format has proven to be a very successful platform for the sharing of information, experiences and ideas across different sectors of the industry, and we look forward to putting Asset Management in the frame for the next round of discussions” he added.
