BBC and ITV to open HITS Europe on 25th June

Robin Bolden, Director of Digital Distribution, BBC Worldwide and Rod Carter, Head of Global Entertainment, ITV Studios have both been confirmed as participants on the opening panel at HITS Europe, taking place in London later this month.

The opening panel will focus on areas of priority for the entertainment content community in driving efficiencies in the home entertainment supply chain. Additional presentation topics will focus on Maximising the Benefits of Consumer Analytics, Getting Ready for UHD and Improving the Supply Chain through better Metadata.

“This is already proving to be one of the more significant conferences in the European calendar, and we are delighted with the response so far” said David Millar, communications Director of MESA Europe.

“In addition to the two broadcasters highlighted both Sky and Viacom are also confirmed participants along with representatives of virtually all of the major Hollywood Studios” he added.

MarkLogic, Box, Sohonet and Cognizant are confirmed contributors to the afternoon event.
