Nokia to lead MESA Europe VR/AR Breakfast Briefing - Making a Commercial Success of Virtual Reality

Published June 13, 2017

The entertainment industry continues to be among the frontrunners in embracing the opportunities presented by both VR and AR, with broadcasters, programme makers and games companies all poised to take the next steps in delivering an enhanced and more immersive experience to their customers. The technologies and creative tools required to enable a Virtual Reality experience are advancing at a rapid rate, while at the same time becoming accessible to a wider range of programme producers and distributors. As a result, the whole business is set to show significant growth over the months and years ahead.

During this second annual VR/AR breakfast briefing, produced by MESA Europe, the discussion will dig deep into what is shaping the future outlook and focus in detail on where the commercial opportunities will unfold. Key product and technology milestones will also be reviewed, with the aim of setting out a timeline for the future evolution of Virtual Reality in the entertainment space.

A number of senior industry executives and sector experts will participate in this open exchange of information and will share some real case study examples that will help demonstrate what VR and AR can mean to both the industry at large and the end user. Leading the discussion and sharing their views and experience will be representatives from Nokia, one of the key technology drivers behind the global adoption of VR

The second annual MESA Europe VR breakfast briefing will take place on 11th July at Courthouse Hotel in London.
