MESA & HITS Europe Announce: European Entertainment Industry Data & Analytics Workshop

Published September 16, 2014

Following the highly successful Metadata workshop held in London prior to the ESCA Digital event, MESA is pleased to announce a Data and Analytics workshop to be held during the afternoon of Wednesday 12th November.

“This initiative has come about as a result of our HITS Europe Advisory Board discussions” said David Millar, Communications Director at MESA Europe. “ It is clear from those talks that there is a huge interest in looking at how the industry can better use the information already available to assist in its planning and business execution” he added.

The Metadata workshop, sponsored by EIDR and supported by the DEG, drew participation from BBC, BT, ITV, Google, YouTube and Virgin as well as senior level representatives from Disney, Fox, Sony Pictures and Warner.

MESA Europe has now assembled an even stronger group of content companies, broadcasters and online service providers to participate in the forthcoming Data and Analytics Workshop, all with a commitment to building better, faster, accurate and more cost effective information flows.

There remain some seats available for participants at the workshop and there are a limited number of presentation and sponsorship opportunities still available.
