Introducing MESA Europe

The Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) was formed close to 15 years ago in order to support the building of efficiencies in the creation, production and distribution of entertainment content.

The associations’ focus has expanded during this time, in response to members needs in order to foster end-to-end collaboration among entertainment service providers, their customers and their trading partners.

Never has this been more important than it is today, with the whole entertainment ecosystem focussed on creating viable business models for digital content delivery and/or prolonging the life of packaged media.

The shifting dynamics of the industry and the growing importance of collaboration in order to achieve commercial success have driven the need to establish a European arm of this successful industry affiliation. This is a direct response to member requests, reflecting the desire for improved local communication in each of the individual European markets and a heightened need for trans-Atlantic networking.
