Realising Workflow Efficiencies Through Data and Asset Management - Opening Keynote Panel Discussion
In this opening keynote panel discussion, a number of senior IT, Systems and Solutions executives from our HITS Europe Advisory Board review the topics that are taking on increasing importance as the entertainment content community embraces new technologies and systems and adapts to the changing business environment.
Participants will include experienced executives from Fox, ITV and Warner.
Keynote Presentation - Taking Metadata, Search and Discovery to a New Level
The importance of content search and discovery driven by rich metadata cannot be underestimated given the huge growth in non-linear entertainment and the explosion in channel availability. This brings with it renewed opportunities for catalogue content and the challenge of how best to monetize this programming.
Our keynote speaker will address these areas and share a vision of how broadcasters, studios and TV networks can benefit from enriched metadata and where state of the art search and discovery is headed.
Maximising the Benefits of Cloud Based Delivery
In this session we will gain insights into the ways in which state-of-the-art cloud services are being used to enhance content workflows and distribution models, including a review of the commercial implications of ‘push’, ‘pull’ and
hybrid delivery approaches.
Taking a Robust and Compliant Approach to Remote Workflow Access
Remote working and collaborative tools, often involving the use of handheld and mobile devices, are now commonplace
and central elements in an efficient post production environment. But how will the industry adapt to the combined
needs of security diligence and compliance with changing data protection legislation?
Is Metadata Really Working for You?
It is impossible to understate the value and importance of Metadata for today’s entertainment industry. On the one
hand it underpins the impetus for business efficiencies across content workflows while, at the same time, it is an essential
tool in driving revenues. Speakers representing a cross section of the industry will share their views in this panel discussion.
Understanding the Changing Business Dynamics of Digital Content Distribution
The digital entertainment business continues to undergo constant evolution, with changing consumer preferences and
consumption patterns impacting on all aspects of the business. New distribution approaches and revenue models are at
the forefront of this, resulting in some significant industry re-alignment. A leading industry analyst tells us more.
The day will be followed by a networking reception.
