Deluxe, Disney, Sohonet, Sony DADC , Sony Pictures & Warner to join Content Protection Summit

The list of participants at the European Content Protection Summit, to be held in London on 29th October, continues to build with a number of additional content, technology and services companies committing to the event.

Ben Roeder, Chief Technology Officer at Sohonet has agreed to take the stage to answer questions on Cloud Security in one of the afternoon sessions. “This is clearly a very hot issue at present, having attracted a lot of media attention in recent months” commented Jim Bottoms, Executive Director of MESA Europe.

The HITS Europe Advisory Board has also highlighted UHD as being of prime interest and both Sony Pictures Entertainment and Farncombe will address this topic. This session, to be introduced by Andre Roy, Head of Security Practice at Farncombe will include a detailed update on the specification and an in depth discussion on the security issues of UHD, featuring Tim Wright, VP, Worldwide New Media & Technology, Sony Pictures Entertainment.
