Data is Core for MESA Europe HITS Summit

The vital role played by data across all elements of the entertainment sector will be a key area of focus at the forthcoming HITS Europe event, which will be held in London on 21st June.

Taking as a  central theme “Where Workflows Embrace IT and Data” the fourth annual HITS Summit will once again feature senior level presentations and informed industry discussion, with ITV, Fox and Warner already confirmed to participate.

Additional contributions for the day, will come from Take1, a leading provider of transcription services to the entertainment community and emerging as a significant voice in the growing localisation sector, and Ampere Analysis, one of the most respected industry analyst organisations operating in this sector.

“Data is now an essential ingredient across all elements of decision making in the entertainment business, playing an essential role in driving workflow efficiencies, re-shaping delivery and distribution approaches and enhancing both content discovery and consumer engagement” said Jim Bottoms, Executive Director of MESA Europe. “As a result, our Entertainment Community Advisory Board, comprising experienced executives from across the industry, have asked us to make this a central element in the day’s debate”.
